Our Mission

South London Trades exists to make finding reliable local tradespeople straightforward. We connect homeowners across South London with trusted builders, electricians, plumbers, and other professionals -- cutting through the noise of national directories that bury local results.

What We Do

We run a programmatic directory covering 25 South London areas and 12 trade categories. Every combination of area and service has its own dedicated page, making it easy for homeowners to find the right tradesperson in their specific neighbourhood -- whether that's a plumber in Peckham or an electrician in Dulwich.

How Listings Work

Listings on the directory come from two sources:

• Google Maps data: we source business information from Google Maps and apply quality filters. Only businesses with 3 or more stars and 3 or more reviews are included.
• Direct submissions: tradespeople can submit their business directly through our listing form. We verify all submissions before publishing.

This approach ensures that every business in the directory meets a minimum quality threshold, giving homeowners confidence in the results.

Featured Listings

Tradespeople who want to stand out can upgrade to a featured listing. Featured businesses get priority placement above free listings, a featured badge, a dofollow backlink to their website, years of experience displayed, a full untruncated description, and a direct call button on area pages. Featured listings cost £29 per month with no long-term contract.
